Juneau County Castle Rock Park has sandy beaches, and stunning scenic views, Quincy Bluff and Wetlands State Natural Area has various trails and is an overall great hike, and Castle Rock Wayside is a beautiful ancient island perfect for walking, sight-seeing, or just enjoying a picnic.

Lastly, Lions Park, just a quick five minutes from the lake itself, has a playground, puzzles, a merry-go-round, and more - perfect for the kids!
