Kerri is a native of The Highland Lakes Area (The HLA) and a graduate of Burnet High School, who began her Real Estate career in 2000. When she was ten years old, Kerri's father bought a boat, and she spent weekends out on The Highland Lakes with our family and friends. After graduating from Burnet High School, Kerri completed her studies at Central Texas College and spent over ten years traveling to many other states acquiring a background in construction and development. In 2000, she decided to move back to Central Texas and pursue a new real estate career. Kerri's diverse property sales experience includes residential, waterfront, farm and ranch, commercial and new development, and property management experience and leasing on single-family and multi-family properties. About Lake Marble Falls

Burnet and Llano Counties

Lake Marble Falls is a small lake on the Colorado River around 5.75 miles long and 1,080 feet wide in its widest area. It rests in the heart of the Texas Hill Country, near the town of Marble Falls.

 

Austin, Texas is around an hour away, perfect for a quick trip full of attractions and amenities. The lake is only 15 minutes from Baylor Scott & White Medical Center and a little over an hour from the Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

 

On and Around the Lake

Anglers can toss a line out on Lake Marble Falls to try and catch largemouth bass, channel catfish, sunfish, white crappie, blue catfish, and flathead catfish. There have been reports of catches of white bass during the spring months.

 

The lake is home to the Lakefest Drag Boat Race when some of the fastest boats in the nation are welcomed to the lake to race at speeds up to 200 MPH. Fans can gather in Johnson Park to watch the event.

 

Johnson Park also offers various activities outside the race. These include kayak rentals, bike trails, and beach volleyball.

 

Nearby Lakes

Lake Marble Falls neighbors Lake Lindon B Johnson, otherwise known as Lake LBJ. On Lake LBJ, there are many options for boating, fishing, and swimming. There are also many fishing options including largemouth bass, crappie, white bass, and catfish. There are also no boating restrictions on the lake.

 

This is the newest and smallest of the Texas Highland Lakes. Other lakes include Lake Buchanan, Inks Lake, Lake Travis, Lake Austin, and Lady Bird Lake.

Marble Falls is home to a walkable downtown inclusive of restaurants, independent shops, and art galleries.

 

The dining options in Marble Falls are all top-class. One of the most popular venues is Thai What’Zap. Others include It’s All Good BBQ, Pizzeria Sorellina, and Canyon Grille.

 

Wine enthusiasts and lovers of all kinds of alcohol will thrive in Marble Falls, which is home to a myriad of breweries, wineries, and distilleries.
