    This gorgeous lake is located in western Michigan, about 38 miles north of Grand Rapids.

    On the Water

    Indian Lake is a 250-acre, beautiful, privately owned lake community. It is an all-sports lake that gives residents an opportunity for many outdoor activities like fishing, boating, all kinds of water sports, as well as ice skating in the winter. The lake community has an association fee that maintains the waterfront access, playground equipment, a volleyball court, and a basketball court.

    There are a variety of fish species at Indian Lake, including large and smallmouth bass, rock bass, black crappie, bluegill, pumpkinseed, yellow perch, walleye, and northern pike.

    While this area is a little remote, there are plenty of wonderful local eats for you to savor. Places like The Forager, C&J’s Family Restaurant, Branding Iron, and Northern Trails Bar and Grill offer residents great options for a family-friendly dining experience.
