Check out Log Cabin Resort and Campground for lakeside lodging, Bay Park Resort and Campground, and Flatwaters Saloon and Campground. The nearby town of Spooner offers more conventional accommodations at the Best Western (11 minutes).

Spooner, the “Crossroads of the North,” is known primarily for The Heart of the North Rodeo. Held every year on the first weekend of June, the seven different events attract thousands of tourists:

- Mutton Busting

Another favorite festival is Jack Pine Savage Days, which offers live music, a fun run, and a basketball, volleyball, and horseshoe tournament
