Less than two miles from the lake is the St. Croix Regional Medical Center on the Wisconsin side, and about an hour’s drive from the lake is the Minneapolis-Saint Paul International Airport on the Minnesota side. Just a two-minute drive from the lake, on the Minnesota side, you can have your burger, and hot dog fix at the retro pit stop, The Drive-In Restaurant. On the Wisconsin side, Dalles House Restaurant and Lounge is a must-have for American surf’n’turf and live music. Tangled Up In Blue Restaurant is more so fine dining with “seafood and steak dishes in quaint digs.
