    About Pattison Lake
    The Best of Both Worlds

Sometimes referred to as “Patterson Lake'' by longtime residents, Pattison Lake is a breath of fresh air from the urbanized sprawl of west Washington State without sacrificing any of its convenience.

The lake is located just over 50 miles from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, and on the southeast edge of the state capital, Olympia.

The Pattison Lake area offers full K-12 public education, as well as several private options. The Multicare Capital Medical Center is less than 14 miles away and accessible via I-5.

The area’s proximity to several parks and recreational facilities makes it a prime location for those who love to stay active and appreciate the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest.

    Never Far from Excitement

Pattison Lake is stocked with over 30,000 rainbow trout each year and is also home to naturally reproducing populations of largemouth bass, rock bass, and black crappie. Trolling and fly fishing are common sights, as the lake features a boat launch and shallow coves for anglers to cast their lines from.

Pattison Lake is less than 10 miles from the Nisqually National Wildlife Refuge. This 762-acre protected estuary features extensive walking trails and a chance for visitors to see over 200 species of birds, mammals, reptiles, and amphibians, including orca whales and the endangered peregrine falcon.

Olympia is the site of the Washington State Capitol, as well as family-friendly attractions such as the award-winning Hands On Children’s Museum. The city is also the home of dozens of green spaces and city parks, including Percival Landing next to the waterfront. The city also hosts an eclectic list of dining and shopping options to keep visitors going throughout the day.

    Lake Comfort, Urban Convenience

Whether you are looking for a cozy vacation home or a place to settle down among a great community, Pattison Lake offers the best of both worlds for those who want the excitement of city life as well as the comfort of a lake community.
