There are many qualities and skills that go into being an excellent real estate professional, integrity, market knowledge, technology, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills, in-depth community knowledge and a high-quality professional networking, all of which are hallmarks of how I conduct my real estate business.

That said, in my experience as the Texas Broker for Lake Homes Realty, I've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting my clients first. This means keeping myself accessible, being a good listener as well as a good communicator, and responding quickly to the buyer's or the seller's needs.

About Lake LBJ

The Lake Formerly Known as Granite Shoals

Lake Lyndon B. Johnson, commonly referred to as Lake LBJ, is part of the Highland Lakes chain in Central Texas.

Local municipalities include Marble Falls and Kingsland, with Austin located less than one hour away.

Constant Water Level Year Round

Formed in 1950 by damming the Colorado River, the primary function of LBJ was originally to provide hydroelectric power.

Now, the lake is also used as cooling water for the Thomas Ferguson Power Plant, which means the lake level must stay constant year round. The lake covers over 6,200 acres and reaches up to 90 feet deep.

Something for Everyone

Common recreational activities on the lake include boating, skiing, swimming, and fishing. LBJ is stocked with typical sport fish including largemouth bass, white bass, crappie, and catfish.

There are three public boat ramps and several marinas located at various points on the lake.

There are several highly rated golf courses in the area, as well as many other attractions within 50 miles, including wineries, shopping, state parks, and more.

Home to the 4th of July Aqua Boom

First held in 1969, Lake LBJ is home to the annual Aqua Boom 4th of July event. This event includes parades, pageants, fireworks, a poker run, and much more.
