Lake Houston Real Estate Agent

Mike Goins

Lake Homes Realty

(936) 657-1972

I was born and raised in the Houston area and attended The University of Texas where I graduated Cum Laude with a Management Information Systems degree in 1998. I moved to Montgomery County and after 7 years in the "corporate" world I decided to follow a childhood dream of being self-employed.

After researching a few options, I landed in the real estate industry. I worked for two years as an appraiser before moving into real estate sales. I attained my Real Estate license in October of 2006.

I aim to give exemplary service while treating others the way I'd like to be treated and I hope to have the opportunity to serve you. I look forward to it!

About Lake Houston

Close Proximity to Houston Metropolitan Area

Lake Houston lies on the San Jacinto River about 18 miles northeast of Houston in Harris County.

Because of its close proximity to Bush Intercontinental Airport and the Port of Houston, and its quality of subdivisions and school systems, Lake Houston continues to flourish as one of Texas' premier lake areas.

Nearly 12,000 acres of Clear, Clean Water

Lake Houston was created by the City of Houston as a water source. Today, Lake Houston spans 11,854 acres and remains the primary water supply for the city of Houston.

Fishing, Camping, Boating

Boating and fishing are the most popular recreational uses of the lake. At the northern end of the lake, Lake Houston Wilderness Park has facilities for nature education, camping and hiking.

With multiple marinas to choose from, excellent parks and luxury golfing facilities, finding something to do at Lake Houston is a breeze.

Great Area with all the Necessities

Lake Houston and the surrounding areas are quickly garnering attention due to the quality of schools, healthcare, subdivisions and entertainment.

Annual events like the Mardi Gras Festival and Parade in March or the 4th of July Festival are a great way to bring the Lake Houston community together. Live music, local vendors, food trucks, and other family friendly activities can usually be found at these special events.

Experience the Best Lake Life Has to Offer

Whether you're looking for a new family home, a retirement residence, or waterfront property, Lake Houston is the perfect destination.
