Cindy Lanham has a love for lake properties that dates as far back as her childhood when her family purchased a lake house in Texas. She has vibrant memories of being surrounded by the beauty of God's creation while building lifelong memories. She and her husband have continued that tradition and live on the lake creating memories with their kids and grandkids. This love for lake living, combined with her passion for real estate give Cindy an unparalleled advantage.

Cindy began her career in real estate in 2006 as a real estate investor buying foreclosures and condos eventually leading to owning a 260 unit apartment complex in Houston, TX. She became a real estate agent in 2013 and was a top producer by her second year. Cindy moved to West Texas and is currently a Realtor® with Lake Homes Realty. She specializes in properties on Lake Granbury, Lake Brownwood, Hubbard Creek Lake, Lake Fort Phantom and Lake Leon. She has an extensive knowledge of all that pertains to buying and selling lake property and will even show you homes by boat.

"A very professional, pro-active, and most importantly genuinely nice person," is how one of Cindy's recent clients described her. She does business with a smile on her face and has made a habit of creating lasting relationships with her clients. One of the most rewarding things about her job is when she runs into clients on the lake having fun, knowing she had a small part in making that happen.

About Lake Fort Phantom Hill

Jones County, Texas

Lake Fort Phantom Hill is 15 miles North of Abilene, Texas, and under three hours from the Dallas-Fort Worth Metropolitan Area.

Emergency care can be found 18 miles away at Hendrick Medical Center. Many smaller airfields surround this lake, but the closest major airport is the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, 183 miles away.

Stock up on snacks and groceries at Walmart Neighborhood Market, which is a 15-minute drive from the lake, or try one of the recommended restaurants such as Heff’s Burgers, Mi Rancho Burrito and Tortilla Factory, and Texas Cowboy BBQ in Abilene.

Endless Opportunities

At 4,213 acres and a maximum depth of 66 feet, Lake Fort Phantom Hill is vast, making it incredibly difficult to run out of things to do on it, or places to explore.

When the lake is full, there are four boat ramps available, and an extra two ramps are added when water is low. All the ramps have parking available and depending on the area, some have restrooms, picnic areas, and campsites.

Anglers can expect to find largemouth bass, white bass, hybrid striped bass, blue catfish, flathead catfish, white crappie, and freshwater drum.

Adjacent to the south side of the lake is Seabee Park, where there are five acres of wetlands along with a large pavilion, picnic spots, hiking trails, and a lighted parking area.

Johnson Park sits on the north side of the lake where there are hiking trails, a kayaking trail, a volleyball court, picnic sites, and a playground.

Entertainment Options

There are many featured attractions in the nearby city of Abilene, Texas.

The top attraction is Frontier Texas! Museum, an interactive museum and visitor center in the downtown area. Visitors can relive the Old West and learn more about life on the Texas Frontier.

The Abilene Zoo is also nearby, featuring more animals than anywhere else in West Texas. Beyond touring the various animals, families can feed giraffes, ride a train or carousel, take a trip in a swan boat on the lake, or experience a wind tunnel.

Historic Fort Phantom Hill is one of the most pristine historic sites in the state, with remains for visitors to explore, inspect, and study. Other museums include the 12th Armored Division Memorial Museum and Grace Museum.

Excellent Location for Lake Life

Whether you are looking to buy a family home, a full-time retirement residence, or waterfront property, Lake Fort Phantom Hill is an excellent choice.
