My real estate niche in the East Tennessee area is helping buyers find the lake property of their dreams. As a lake property specialist for Norris, Cherokee, Douglas and Loudon lakes, you can find me walking properties and capturing the beauty of the land on my camera when not showing properties.

Land is where the real estate dream starts, and with my experience, I can guide you in finding the lot or acreage that fits your needs. If a finished house on or near the water is your preference, I can assist in finding that perfect home as well.

My experience as a former IBM sales executive, an owner of multiple lake properties in East TN, and a licensed Realtor, comes into play when working with my buyers and sellers. Listening is one of the skills I have learned in dealing with clients for many years, and combined with a knowledge of our beautiful lakes within an hour radius of Knoxville, I am qualified to help you with your lake property real estate needs.

Having moved 9 times in my previous career, I know what a difference the right Realtor can make in what can be a stressful time in one's life. My goal is to always see a big smile on my client's face at the end of a closing, and to ensure the entire process results in a very positive referral from that client.

As an e-PRO designated agent, I leverage the strength of the internet during the buying and selling and marketing process. I also value the traditional approaches to marketing properties, so a combination of these elements makes for a strong real estate market presence.

I am also a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), which means I have a core competence in working with clients and their needs in the 50+ time of their lives. Bottom line though, is I like to talk with my clients... so call me anytime to put my experience to work for you!

About Douglas Lake

Scenic Douglas Lake is set against the backdrop of the Smoky Mountain foothills. This area is known for its abundant water activities, as well as picnicking, hiking, and camping. Birdwatchers can especially enjoy the fall migration of shore birds, wading birds, and other waterfowl that begin flocking to Douglas in the late summer.

Since its construction in 1943, Douglas dam remains an integral unit in overall water control and hydroelectric power generation through the region. Douglas Lake was created by damming the French Broad River, and collects water from a 4,541 square mile watershed.

The Lake is fed by both the French Broad River and Nolichucky River which originate in the tall mountains of North Carolina and Tennessee. The reservoir stretches over 550 miles of shoreline with a surface area greater than 30,000 acres. Douglas Reservoir reaches depths of 140 feet and is 43.1 miles long.

Douglas Lake is renowned for its Large Mouth Bass and Crappie fishing, however, the lake also boasts a host of other species of fish, including Sauger, Black Crappie, Channel Catfish, White Bass, Striped Bass, Walleye, Spotted Bass, Blue Cat, Flat Head Catfish, Red Breast Sunfish and Bluegill. Even with all these other species, Douglas Lake remains in the top five locations in the nation for Crappie, and top ten in the nation for Large Mouth Bass.

Douglas Lake is surrounded by four counties, Jefferson, Sevier, Hamblen and Cocke, and three major towns, Sevierville, Dandridge, and White Pine. Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg are all located within miles of the lake. In addition to the facilities provided by the Tennessee Valley Authority at Douglas Dam, you'll never run out of things to do in this area!
