1,336 Acres of Water

Tetonka Lake is longer than it is comprehensive and covers a total of 1,336 acres. Homes are located all about the shore but are most dense around the east and west ends.

Towering trees shade most of the shoreline, but they are the densest mid-lake. Residents can kayak or canoe along the shore for deer sightings, eagles, beavers, herons, or even a moose.

Boating is a popular activity at Tetonka, along with jet skiing, water skiing, and tubing. Anglers come to the lake for well-sized walleye and yellow perch.

Nearby Attractions

On the east side of Waterville, Sakatah Lake and its state park offer more outdoor activities. The park’s most popular trail is the Sakatah Singing Hills Trail, used for hiking, biking, and snowmobiling. It also schedules days strictly for deer hunting. Its campground includes full-service lots along with a bathroom and shower house.

Faribault is just a few miles east where you can shop, dine, or visit attractions like Faribault Aquatic Center, Faribault Golf & Country Club, Faribo West Mall, and the River Bend Nature Center.
