If you are looking for a hidden retreat, Rohrbeck Lake is the place to go. Trees line the lake, and beyond that are the open lands of central Minnesota.

Just a 30-mile drive north will bring you to St Cloud, the St Cloud Hospital, St Cloud Regional Airport, and an impressive list of restaurants and shops.

Quaint and Quiet Waters

Rohrbeck Lake is the perfect place for a fisherman. They can fish the serene waters for largemouth bass, walleye, northern pike, perch, and more.

It is also an excellent spot for kayakers and canoers that enjoy the sights of wildlife. Loons, beavers, deer, rabbits, and herons hang around the lake.

For a larger body of water, travel just a few miles north to Clear Lake. A boat ramp and fishing pier are at Clear Lake Park. This lake is famous for pontooning, water skiing, tubing, and more.

Millner Heritage Vineyard and Winery, known as “The Fun Winery,” is located east of Kimball's lake. You can hop on a trolley and take a tour of the vineyard while you sip fine wine. They also host live bands and private events.

Walk the streets of Annandale to explore antique shops, gift shops, and boutiques. Go on to Minneapolis for the Mall of America for a choice of over 500 stores. The mall is also home to 10 other attractions, including Nickelodeon’s indoor amusement park.

Other city attractions include the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden, Walker Art Center, Minnehaha Falls, and Lake Harriet.
