The nearest hospital is Grand Itasca Clinic and Hospital, nine miles away.

What to do on the water

Rice Lake is 857 beautiful acres of water that allows for plenty of room to take out your boat, canoe, or kayak; alternatively, you could go for a swim or do some fishing. Fishing fans can look out for black bullhead, bluegill, brown bullhead, largemouth bass, northern pike, rock bass, walleye, yellow bullhead, yellow perch, pumpkinseed.
