Lake Como is 71 acres in size, with a maximum depth of 15 feet. The lake contains 1.7 miles of shoreline, offering plenty of room for lake fun.

The water is in Como Regional Park, which includes a multitude of activities to enjoy. The area features a pavilion, 2.3 miles of paved trails, grills, a play area, four ball fields, a fishing pier, a restaurant/event venue, athletic fields, Marjorie McNeely Conservatory, Como Zoo, Como Town Amusement Park, Como 18 Hole Golf Course, Como Regional Park Pool, and more.

Only cartop-carried boats and electric trolling motors are allowed on the lake. Watercraft must be carried, portaged, or wheeled down to the floating dock behind the Lakeside Pavilion. If you don't own a boat, you can rent one from Wheel Fun Rentals.

Anglers can find black bullhead, black crappie, bluegill, brown bullhead, channel catfish, green sunfish, hybrid sunfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, pumpkinseed, rock bass, sunfish, walleye, white crappie, yellow bullhead, yellow perch, common carp, shortnose gar, white sucker, golden shiner, and goldfish.
