Lotus Lake covers over 240 acres and reaches depths of 29 feet. It is a long, slim body of water with its largest opening mid-lake.

Carver Beach, located on the western shore, includes a swimming beach, playground, picnic area, dock, canoe rack, and park trail. South Lotus Lake Park also has a playground, walking trails, and an on-shore fishing area.
