The lake is annually stocked with walleye, so anglers have a great chance at making a good catch. Other fish of the lake include largemouth bass, northern pike, and crappie.

On the shaded three-mile shoreline, you can enjoy picnicking, hammocking, or birdwatching. Loons, squirrels, deer, beavers, and herons are common animals around the lake.

A public access point is on the west shore of the lake.
