Anglers are always pleased with the lake's healthy stock of bass, trout, pickerel, and salmon. Ice skating and ice fishing are popular activities on the lake when it is frozen. Multiple hiking trails wind around the lake that is also used for snowmobiling and snowshoeing in the winter.
