The fish of Pelican Lake vary in species due to the many lake environments present in Pelican Lake. Common fish include panfish, musky, bass, northern pike, and walleye.

While there are not many restrictions on Pelican Lake, the few that are in place are heavily enforced. Such as no-wake-zones that are within 200 feet of the shoreline and any Wisconsin state restrictions.

The Hodag is a local attraction just 25 minutes from Pelican Lake. A popular roadside stop, Hodag is the largest of its kind, and people come from all over just to look and take pictures with the adorable statue.
