Scovils Lake - Minong

Scovils Lake is 65 acres with a maximum depth of 37 feet. The town of Minong is fairly secluded, but no need to worry about finding things to do. The town of Hayward is a quick and scenic 45-minute drive from Scovils Lake.

Lake Life

Scovils Lake welcomes all of its residents to have fun and enjoy the water. Boating, swimming, skiing, and tubing are all allowed on Scovils Lake along with many other recreational activities. Scovils Lake has a no-wake area within 100 feet of any shoreline, vessel, or swimmer.

Fishing is popular on Scovils Lake. Common fish include panfish, bass, northern pike, and walleye. Bass is legal on a catch-and-release basis year-round.

What To Do

While there is not much to do besides relaxing and enjoying the water in Minong, Wisconsin, there is plenty to see and do in the town of Hayward.
