Fifth Lake

Located in Oneida County, Wisconsin

The quaint Lake Fifth holds 238 acres with a maximum depth of nine feet. It’s wonderfully balanced with an “off the grid” feel in a grand county.

Less than 10 miles from the lake is the 24-hour Aspirus Rhinelander Hospital and less than 15 miles from the lake is the regional airport, Rhinelander-Oneida County Airport making Lake Fifth rather close to all necessities.

Life on the Water

Lake Fifth is a hot spot for fishing- common species to catch include largemouth bass, brown bullhead, and bluegill. Water activities like boating, water-skiing, jet-skiing, tubing, canoeing, paddle boarding, kayaking, and swimming are also popular at this lake. Lake Fifth is thoroughly enjoyed by locals and visitors.

For the hiking lovers, walk the trails and take in the breathtaking scenic views of Long Lake Trail, Holmboe Conifer Forest Trail, and Hanson Lake Trailhead- all relatively close to Lake Fifth.

For a good family-friendly grub and drink, go to Friendship House Family Restaurant or Papillons Restaurant. Obviously, try out Wisconsin’s famous cheese curds while you’re there!

Only 30 miles from Lake Fifth is the exquisitely beautiful Three Lakes Winery with tasteful wine tastings, a flavorful and affordable selection, and overall good company. Definitely worth the drive!
