Muskesin Lake

Located in Vilas County, Wisconsin

You can find this beautiful 107-acre lake in the forests of northern Wisconsin. Located four hours east of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and four hours and 15 minutes from Milwaukee, this remote lake offers rest from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Small but Mighty

Panfish are commonly caught in this lake, with musky, largemouth bass, and smallmouth bass also making appearances. Remember to check the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources’ Fishing Regulations before you grab your bait and tackle and hit the lake for a day of serenity.

This sandy lake reaches a maximum depth of 22 feet, allowing for most boating and water activities. Motor trolling is allowed with one hook, bait, or lure per angler, and three hooks, baits, or lures maximum per boat.

Conveniently located near WI-47, Muskesin is only nine minutes from Lac Du Flambeau. The town’s motto is “A place to truly rest your spirit,” welcoming vacationers to their town for peace and quiet.
