Walker Lake

King County, Washington

Walker Lake is a quaint 12-acre lake located near Enumclaw, Washington, and around an hour east of Tacoma.

The lake is about an hour from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport and 15 minutes from the St. Elizabeth Hospital in Enumclaw.

Fun On and Off the Water

Walker Lake is boat accessible, but there are no gas engines allowed. The lake has good water quality and is stocked with rainbow trout.

The area is also close to Enumclaw Golf Course, one of the prettiest courses in Western Washington. It is an 18-hole course below Mt. Rainer with rates ranging from $15 to $30.

In the City

Enumclaw, Washington is home to the oldest fair west of the Mississippi, the King County Fair. It takes place at the Enumclaw Expo Center, a 72-acre event center able to accommodate almost any event.

The Expo Center also hosts the Enumclaw Wine and Chocolate Festival, the Seattle Scottish Highland Games and Clan Gathering, the Olympic Kennel Club Dog Show, the Enumclaw Pro-Rodeo, and the Enumclaw Festival of Crafts and Gifts.
