Toad Lake

Whatcom County, Washington

Toad Lake is a quaint 30-acre lake northeast of Bellingham, Washington that is surrounded by residential properties.

The St. Joseph Medical Center is only 15 minutes away from the lake and the Bellingham International Airport is 20 minutes away. Squalicum High School is seven minutes from the lake. There are public elementary schools in the area.

Fun on the Water

The primary fish species in the lake is rainbow trout. There is a boat launch on the south end of the lake. No gas motors are allowed. The lake is generally open to fishing from late April to late October.

Bellingham’s brewery scene is booming. There are 14 breweries in the city limits and three just outside. Boundary Bay Brewery, Bellingham’s oldest brewery, serves a wide variety of beers and has a large beer garden and deck.
