Pipe Lake

King County, Washington

Pipe Lake is a 52-acre private lake partially located in both Covington and Maple Valley, Washington. The Pipe Lake area is two and a half miles from the MultiCare Covington Clinic and only 21 miles from the Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.

The surrounding Cedar Creek area features full K-12 public education as well as several private education options.

A Breath of Fresh Air

Pipe Lake connects to the adjacent Lake Lucerne and is navigable by a small boat, kayak, and canoe. Anglers at Pipe Lake can expect to hook bluegill, rainbow trout, yellow perch, kokanee, black crappie, and smallmouth bass.

The Cedar Creek Park is a 120-acre natural forested area with cedars, giant maples, Douglas firs, and Western Hemlocks up to 100 years old. More than 200 species of rhododendrons and azaleas adorn the soft trails of this magnificent park.

The Lake Wilderness Arboretum is located less than four miles from the Pipe Lake area. This 40-acre garden has one of the world’s largest collections of the Western Azalea with over 200 variants of the species. Over 30 acres of the arboretum include walking trails, and the developed parts are ADA and wheelchair accessible.

Other Attractions

Situated just south of the Arboretum is The Lake Wilderness Golf Club is a lush, 18-hole course that offers challenging play for golfers of all skill levels.

The Club also features a 150 seat banquet hall and an outdoor patio with incredible views of the bordering Lake Wilderness. Both can be reserved for social and corporate events alike.

Pipe Lake is less than a half-hour from Seattle. The city is stocked with plenty of attractions and amenities for the residents of Pipe Lake. There is of course the iconic Space Needle, luxury dining experiences, and a world-renowned art museum. Visitors can also check out the Seattle Zoo and city tours.
