Lake Sawyer is a 285.7-acre lake in King County, Washington. Fishing opportunities are great at Lake Sawyer! There are several different fish species available to catch including rainbow trout, coastal cutthroat trout, Kokanee, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, yellow perch, black crappie, brown bullhead, and Pumpkinseed Sunfish. Lake Sawyer also offers a boat ramp and bank access through Lake Sawyer park located on the south end of the lake.

Nature Trails

Surrounding Lake Sawyer are several opportunities for hiking, walking, biking, and simply enjoying nature. Black Diamond Natural Area has trails perfect for mountain biking and is only 3.3 miles east of the lake. Henry’s Ridge Natural Area is 4.7 miles northeast of the lake and is perfect for leisure walking or walking a dog. It also has a gnome trail to add to the fun! Lastly, Lake Sawyer Regional Park on the south end of the lake has beautiful trails and nature to observe!

Lake Sawyer has the perfect location and is only five miles from all of the necessary grocery shopping and medical care! For grocery shopping, there is Lake Sawyer Grocery, Safeway, Grocery Outlet Bargain Market, Fred Meyer, and QFC. For medical care, there is the MultiCare Covington Medical Center and the MultiCare Maple Valley Clinic, each devoted to the health of the community.

Travelling is made easy at Lake Sawyer because of its proximity to highly-rated airports. The Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is 22.8 miles from the lake and the Auburn Municipal Airport is 14.1 miles from the lake.
