Lake Goss

Located on Whidbey Island

Goss Lake is a lovely community on Whidbey Island situated between Langley and Freeland in Washington. Not only is this lake surrounded by the natural forests of the Pacific Northwest, but you also have Puget Sound’s waters in the background.

Despite its more private location, Lake Goss is approximately 90 minutes north of Seattle, Washington.

Recreation

Lake Goss boasts various activities such as boating, fishing, and miles of woodland trails on its shore.

If you leave the island and travel to Washington's mainland state, you can enjoy the large national parks near the coast. You can find plenty to do in the Okanogan Wenatchee National Forest. The forest encompasses over 4 million acres along the east slopes of the Cascade Range in Washington. You can enjoy hiking, camping, climbing, fishing, hunting, horseback riding, mountain biking, off-roading, and winter activities such as cross-country skiing, downhill skiing, and snowmobiling.

There is also the North Cascades National Park to the northeast. Spanning more than 500,000 acres with plenty of unique habitats to explore, you are sure to find your next adventure here. Like many of the parks in Washington, you can enjoy hiking, camping, biking, mountain climbing, boatings, and so much more in the North Cascades.
