About Lone Lake

Commute by Car or Ferry to Whidbey Island

Lone Lake is located on the southern end of Whidbey Island and accessible by the Mukilteo Ferry or Highway 20 South. Whidbey Airpark is located just east of the lake for anyone who flies an aircraft.

Calling the Anglers

Lone Lake is known as one of Whidbey Island’s best fishing holes. Trout measuring over 20 inches have been caught from the lake.

Others spend their time on the lake boating, water skiing, kayaking, and canoeing. Its waters are fairly deep but they warm to a comfortable temperature by summer.

Around the Island

Take the Whidbey Island Scenic Isle to drive along the island’s coast, through seaside farms and charming little towns.

Along the way, there are many places to stop for dinner or find a souvenir to take home. While the drive is exciting for visitors it is just as loved by the locals. Sunsets on the island never get old and the coast is the perfect spot for a picture.

There is a beach at Windjammer Park where you can go for a swim. Visit Dugualla State Park to hike a variety of trails through the island’s deep wilderness.

Whidbey Island Golf Club features a scenic 18-hole course along with a driving range and restaurant.

Escape the Norm

Whidbey Island is a unique location with a lot to offer. When you make the move to Long Lake you will see what all you have been missing.
