At 36 acres, Lake Shenandoah offers its residents privacy and plenty of room for lake fun.

Most of the water is less than three feet deep, but the maximum depth near the dam is 25 feet. Popular activities are kayaking, canoeing, fishing, and relaxing on the shoreline. Gasoline motors, swimming, wading, ice skating, hunting, trapping, and camping are prohibited.

Anglers can expect to find largemouth bass, channel catfish, bluegill, redear sunfish, and black crappie.

The area has excellent bank fishing access, a boat ramp, a fishing pier, restrooms, a bait hut open seasonally, and a wildlife viewing trail.
