    Lakeside Lake is a small reservoir set behind the Bowman Library in Stephens City, Virginia, an hour west of Washington, D.C.

    There is a hospital 11 minutes from Valley Health and a little over an hour from Dulles International Airport. It is also within 10 minutes of Martin’s Foods and ALDI.

    Lakeside Lake is relatively small but still has lots to offer nearby residents.

    Anglers on the lake can expect to reel in bass, bluegill, carp, catfish, crappie, and sunfish.

    Bowman Lake Trail surrounds the lake and is designed for pedestrian use and starts and ends at the library.
