(540) 530-3111

Mike Stevens has spent the past 30 years on and around lakes, making him knowledgeable about the lake life his clients are interested in on Lake Anna and Lake Louisa.

Since joining the real estate business in 2019, Mike brings his previous experience in financial services and consulting to the table. He has built two personal homes and assisted friends find their homes prior to his real estate career, helping him understand the nuances of the lake and lake property buying experience.

Mike has owned a lake home since 2005 and currently lives at the lake full-time. He understands living on the lake is different than just visiting the lake, which adds to his ability as a lake expert agent to help clients make the transition.

When he is not working tirelessly to help his clients find their home on the lake, Mike enjoys activities on the water, golfing, woodturning, taking walks with his dog, family time, and working on his home.

Mike loves helping clients realize their dreams, whether it is an established lake home or one waiting to be built. If you're looking to make the leap and find or sell a lake property at Lake Anna or Lake Louisa, give Mike Stevens a call today!

About Lake Anna

Lake Anna is one of the largest freshwater lakes in Virginia. Located 70 miles south of Washington D.C. in Louisa, Spotsylvania, and Orange counties, this 13,000 acre reservoir is one of the most popular recreational lakes in the state.

The reservoir is formed by the North Anna Dam on the North Anna River. Lake Anna is 17 miles long from tip to tip, with 272 miles of shoreline and a max depth of 80 feet.

The lake is divided into two parts by stone dikes, the north east public side and south west private side. The private side is much smaller and has no public access except for those who live on the water. The public side has numerous marinas and boat launches open to the public. These sections of the lake have nicknames; the public side is the "cold side" and the private side is the "hot side."

Lake Anna State Park is adjacent to Lake Anna on the public side and is a popular spot with locals and tourists. This beautiful state park features a fishing pond accessible to children and people with disabilities, a bathhouse and concessions complex, boat launch facilities, pontoon boat rides, picnicking and hiking.

Lake Anna is one of the most unique and beautiful lakes in the country, and a great place to live or to own as a weekend get away!
