My real estate niche in the East Tennessee area is helping buyers find the lake property of their dreams. As a lake property specialist for Norris, Cherokee, Douglas and Loudon lakes, you can find me walking properties and capturing the beauty of the land on my camera when not showing properties.

Land is where the real estate dream starts, and with my experience, I can guide you in finding the lot or acreage that fits your needs. If a finished house on or near the water is your preference, I can assist in finding that perfect home as well.

My experience as a former IBM sales executive, an owner of multiple lake properties in East TN, and a licensed Realtor, comes into play when working with my buyers and sellers. Listening is one of the skills I have learned in dealing with clients for many years, and combined with a knowledge of our beautiful lakes within an hour radius of Knoxville, I am qualified to help you with your lake property real estate needs.

Having moved 9 times in my previous career, I know what a difference the right Realtor can make in what can be a stressful time in one's life. My goal is to always see a big smile on my client's face at the end of a closing, and to ensure the entire process results in a very positive referral from that client.

As an e-PRO designated agent, I leverage the strength of the internet during the buying and selling and marketing process. I also value the traditional approaches to marketing properties, so a combination of these elements makes for a strong real estate market presence.

I am also a Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES), which means I have a core competence in working with clients and their needs in the 50+ time of their lives. Bottom line though, is I like to talk with my clients... so call me anytime to put my experience to work for you!

About Norris Lake

Beautiful Waters North of Knoxville

Nestled in the rolling hills of Eastern Tennessee, Norris Lake promises turquoise waters and year-round fun for the whole family.

Sitting just 30 miles north of Knoxville, Tennessee, the lake is a desirable location for vacationers and full-time residents. The McGhee Tyson Airport, Fort Sanders Medical Center, and the University of Tennessee are all found in the city.

Over 30,000 Acres of Water

Norris Lake extends 56 miles up the Power River and 72 miles up the Clinch River, boasting a surface area of 33,400 acres.

It has 800 miles of shoreline with a backdrop of the Tennessee mountain ranges. The lake has a full list of amenities, including 22 marinas and resorts, three state parks, two wildlife management areas, and multiple boat ramps.

Days on the Lake

There are tons of ways to spend the day on Norris Lake. You are welcome to bring watercraft of all kinds, and if you do not have one of your own there are ones to rent at the marinas.

It is a popular location for watersports, including water skiing, wakeboarding, jet skiing, and tubing. For a more relaxed lake day, set out in a kayak or canoe and explore the lake’s secluded coves.

The entire lake except the marina areas is open for swimming so feel free to take a dip when the day gets hot.

Norris Lake has excellent angling opportunities, featuring healthy amounts of large and smallmouth bass, stripers, black bass, brown and rainbow trout, walleye, perch, and crappie.

Shopping, Dining, and More

While there is plenty to do on Norris Lake, it is always fun to spend time in the city. There is no better place than Knoxville, a short drive from Norris Lake.

The vibrant city is home to a wealth of shops, boutiques, restaurants, and bars. Some of the top sights include the Knoxville Zoo, Sunsphere Tower, and Market Square.

A Wonderful Destination

Norris Lake is a scenic location where days can be spent relaxing or jam-packed with adventure. Its variety of activities and proximity to the city make it an appealing location for a full-time home or vacation rental.
