At home, Deb spends time with her family and considers her greatest accomplishment to be her children and "grandbabies." She has three children and four grandchildren. She and her husband enjoy spending time in their RV camping around Tennessee's beautiful lakes.

About Dale Hollow Lake

A Picturesque Lake in Northern Tennessee

Dale Hollow Lake is a blue water paradise nestled in the foothills of the Highland Rim. It features a variety of real estate, from cottages and cabins to houseboats and mansions.

While it is a popular vacation destination, many have made it their permanent residence. It extends along the Tennessee-Kentucky border and by the towns of Celina, Albany, and Byrdstown.

It is just over 100 miles from Nashville and Knoxville.

Far Stretching Waters

The lake has 27,700 acres of surface area and 24,842 acres of surrounding land, totaling 52,542 acres. It has 620 miles of unspoiled shoreline and covers large parts of Clay, Pickett, and Overton counties.

Dale Hollow has ultra-clear water and is one of the cleanest lakes in the US. It was named #1 in the top 10 best housing boat lakes in North America.

A Recreational Paradise

Dale Hollow Lake hosts water activities of all kinds. Boating, jet skiing, water skiing, fishing, wakeboarding, sailing, and kayaking are some of its popular past times. Its pristine waters make swimming and paddle boarding greatly enjoyable.

Several marinas and resorts around the lake can help you out with a boat rental, boat slip, or snacks for the day. When it is time for a break, dock on one of the lake’s islands or park the boat at one of the lakeside restaurants.

Pleasant Grove Recreation Area features a swing bridge, a blue swimming hole, and a scenic nature trail. The entire lake is surrounded by trails for hiking, biking, or horseback riding.

An Angler’s Dream

Dale Hollow Lake holds the record for the largest smallmouth bass caught in the world, weighing 11 pounds and 150 ounces. Other fish that thrive in the lake include largemouth bass, catfish, crappie, trout, and walleye.

Fishing is a year-round activity at Dale Hollow. It hosts two annual bass tournaments along with many other fishing events.

The Best of Lake Life

Dale Hollow Lake is a place you will never want to leave. Its unspoiled beauty and range of activities make it one of the country’s most desirable lakes.
