Reading is a beautiful town that Lake Wynona residents are only 30 miles north of.

Check out the Reading Pagoda, the city's longtime symbol. In 1908, plans were made for this replication of a Japanese pagoda temple to be a luxury hotel. When the plans were abandoned, the pagoda and land were donated to the city.

Built atop the southern end of Mount Penn, it now serves as a popular travel destination to view the city from above.
