Hartley Lake

Bottineau County, North Dakota

Hartley Lake is a 229-acre lake in northern North Dakota, and the northernmost 41 percent of which is in Canada.

It is 32 minutes from St. Andrew’s Health Center and less than two hours from Minot International Airport.

The nearest grocers are around half an hour away in Dunseith and Bottineau. There are small schools within a 30-minute radius.

There are a few popular restaurants just a short drive away including A-Frame Bar and Grill, KC’s Dockside Bar and Grill, Birchwood Steakhouse and Lounge, and Metigoshe Pizza.

Additionally, the Roosevelt Zoo offers an experience that any animal-lover will enjoy. Home to countless mammals and birds, the zoo is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily. It also holds annual events such as Bacon and Brew at the Zoo where attendees can try bacon cuts and craft beers while listening to live music.
