Flights are also not an issue, as the river flows through major metropolitan cities and its immediate areas such as Philadelphia, Wilmington, Trenton, and Dover, offering many regional and international flights.
Main airports directly serving the river basin are Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), Wilmington Airport (ILG), and Millville Executive Airport (MIV). However, other international hubs that are a short distance away include Atlantic City International Airport (ACY) in New Jersey and Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI).
