Tekamah-Mud Creek Reservoir 9-A is a 38-acre body of water located in Tekamah, Nebraska. Omaha is under 50 miles from the lake, making it the perfect day trip option.

The lake is within five minutes from Memorial Community Hospital and around an hour from Eppley Airfield. It is also two minutes from Save More Market.

Anglers on the lake can expect to catch primarily largemouth bass. Serious anglers can travel just 12 minutes to Summit Lake State Recreation Area, which lies on the shore of Summit Lake.

The state park recently constructed jetties on the lake to optimize the fishing experience. Anglers on Summit Lake can catch bass, bluegill, catfish, crappie, and walleye. The park even includes a fish-cleaning station for visitors to use. Boating is permitted on Summit Lake, but there is a five mph speed limit.
