Lake Mary Ronan is a 1,500-acre lake nestled away in the Lake Mary Ronan State Park. The lake is located in the Salish and Mission Mountain ranges, northwest of Dayton.

It is 37 minutes from Providence St. Joseph Medical Center and an hour from Glacier Park International Airport. There is a Blacktail Family Foods store within half an hour.

Nearby, the Glacier National Park provides over 700 miles of trails through rugged but breathtaking mountain forests and meadows. The park also provides historic chalets and lodges.

Additionally, the Flathead National Forest consists of over two million acres south of the Glacier National Park. It encompasses numerous lakes and wild rivers and provides over 2,000 miles of trails, campgrounds, and ski areas.

Flathead Lake

A whopping 126,000-acres in size, Flathead Lake is the largest freshwater lake west of the Mississippi River. The beautiful crystal clear water surrounded mesmerizing islands and is home to numerous fish species including trout, pike, yellow perch, and whitefish.

Be aware, however, that since the lake is on the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes Flathead Reservation, you must purchase a tribal recreation permit to use the lake.
