Goose Creek Lake and its community are about an hour south of Saint Louis, next to the Missouri-Illinois state line.

Goose Creek Lake and five other fishing ponds in the community are annually stocked with catfish, bass, and crappie. In the big lake, you also have chances to catch walleye.
