Spanning 779 acres, Sand Lake has a maximum depth of 15 feet. The lake contains public boat access and is the perfect location for water sports, kayaking, canoeing, swimming, boating, and fishing. The most popular fish species here are bullhead, perch, pumpkinseed, bream/bluegill, walleye, smallmouth bass, yellow perch, pumpkinseed, largemouth bass, northern pike, and rock bass.
