South Central Lake waters cover 835 acres and vary in depth, with its deepest point at 110 feet. Its 12-mile shoreline features a long peninsula (Sunset Point) along with many inlets. A channel connects South Central Lake to North Central Lake of 750 acres.

During the summer months, South Center Lake is a boating hub, water skiing, fishing, and swimming.

Around the water, you will spot loons, geese, mallards, and possibly a beaver. In its wooded areas, you have chances to spot wandering deer, elk, moose, or an eagle’s nest.

South Center Lake is also a fishing hot spot, luring anglers in with its walleye, northern pike, and largemouth bass populations.
