Jewett Lake is 747 acres in size, with a maximum depth of 75 feet. The lake contains over four miles of shoreline, the perfect size for relaxing and recreation.

Boating, fishing, swimming, watersports, relaxing on the shore, and enjoying nature are popular pastimes here. Many homes have docks, but a public access point is on the northeastern side of the water.

Anglers can find black bullhead, bluegill, brown bullhead, channel catfish, green sunfish, largemouth bass, northern pike, pumpkinseed, rock bass, walleye, yellow bullhead, and yellow perch.

Maplewood State Park features eight lakes, 150 species of birds, and trails for hikers, bikers, horseback riders, and skiers. There is also an interpretive trail, which explains the geology of the park.

Head to Pebble Lake Golf Course in nearby Fergus Falls to tee it up. This golf course is an 18 hole course offering a challenge for all skill levels. There is a comfortable clubhouse with dining facilities for both small and large groups. Also on the course is Pebble Lake Beach, a sand beach with a swimming area on Pebble Lake.
