Haven Hill Lake is a 721-acre lake located in White Lake Charter Township, Michigan. Ann Arbor is 38 miles south, Detroit is 45 miles southeast, and Lansing is 58 miles west.

The closest location for emergency care is the Pontiac General Hospital, 14 miles east. The Oakland County International Airport is eight miles east.

Life Near a State Park

Haven Hill Lake is a part of the Highland Recreation Area, a stunning 5,000+ acre state park. Once the setting of Henry Ford's summer vacation home, this idyllic area offers visitors a chance to feel like they're somewhere in the wilds of northern Michigan, not in one of the state's most developed counties. A Michigan Recreation Passport or a sticker purchased for daily use is required for entry.

Hiking is one of the most popular activities, with miles of hiking trails available at the park's entrance. Not far from the lake is one of southern Michigan's most challenging mountain bike trail complexes, sitting at over 15 miles.

One of the hiking paths runs along the shoreline of the lake, allowing visitors to fish. Anglers report catching largemouth bass, bluegill, yellow perch, and pumpkinseed.
