Not quite sixty years ago, the ''dad'' of the family, took one of his sons in a little aluminum boat and started out from their campsite on Granny Kent Pond. His son asked, ''Dad, where are we going?'' And his father answered, ''We are going to find the perfect lot on the lake, where we can build our cottage.'' And that is just what they did! A couple of years later, the family helped to build this cute waterfront cottage with three bedrooms, a living room with brick fireplace, kitchen and full bath. There is also a wonderful screened porch across the entire front of the cottage, complete with an old-fashioned glider-swing!With 100 feet of level, sandy bottom frontage, there is even a horseshoe-shaped sandy, gradual beach, which is perfect for everyone. Granny Kent Pond is spring-fed and beckons you to come, relax, swim, water ski and listen to the loons crying from the lake. There is also an additional back lot, for extra parking.
