Lake Forbing is a small suburban lake in southern Shreveport. The lake is conveniently located just minutes from Shreveport Regional Airport, Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, and city attractions.

The Alexandria International Airport and the Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport are also less than 200 miles away.

A Place of Serenity

It is home to various gamefish along with wood ducks, geese, and other local wildlife.

Country Club & Wildlife Preserve

There are plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors around Shreveport. Red River National Wildlife Refuge offers hunting, fishing, and hiking in the natural landscapes of Northwestern Louisiana.

East Ridge Country Club is a family favorite; with an 18-hole course, two swimming pools, a tennis court, and an excellent restaurant, it has something for everyone. All of these excellent facilities are just across the road from the lake.
