    Lake Michoud is located in Eastern New Orleans between Lake Pontchartrain's southern edge and the northern tip of Lake Borgne. It is considered a part of the Ninth Ward of New Orleans, which is perfect for people who love the city but want more privacy.

    This lake is a smaller residential lake along Michoud Boulevard and is loved by residents for its beauty. Lake Michoud is primarily used as a natural feature to add beauty to the community.

    Lake Pontchartrain is the largest lake in Louisiana and encompasses 630 square miles.     Lake Borgne is a lagoon of the Gulf of Mexico to the east of Lake Michoud. It is connected to Lake Pontchartrain via The Rigolets. It is the third-largest lake in Louisiana and can be excellent for a year-round fishing spot for anglers.
