Sawmill Lake is a 27-acre lake that is an outflow of Sechrist Lake, part of the Barbee Chain of Lakes, in Warsaw, Indiana. Fort Wayne is under 45 miles away.

Kosciusko Community Hospital is 20 minutes away, and Fort Wayne International Airport is about an hour to the south. There are a variety of schools in the area, mostly in Warsaw, within 20 minutes of the lake.

Outdoor Activities

On the Barbee Chain of Lakes, anglers can expect to catch largemouth bass, bluegill, perch, pike, and sunfish.

There is a public boat ramp on the north side of Kuhn Lake, and most of the chain can be accessed from there. Be wary, however, of the 10 MPH speed limit.

Pine Bay, a seasonal campground, offers camping opportunities on Sawmill Lake.
