Located in Lakemoor Village

Lily Lake is part of the Village of Lakemoor, a growing community in the Chicago Metropolitan Area. The lake is approximately 89 acres in size.

Nearby there are seven lakes and ponds within walking distance of Lily Lake. The largest among the neighboring lakes is Pine Lake, which is just north of Lily Lake.

The Village of Lakemoor is home to many businesses, including grocery stores, restaurants, repair shops, retail, and more.

Village Amenities

A village park, with playground, basketball and volleyball courts, and a beach occupy its eastern shores, while a boat launch provides water access for residents.

There are boating regulations on Lake Lily with boat motors being limited to under ten horsepower. Electric motors are perfectly fine. They are very capable of getting you anywhere you need to go on Lily Lake.

Fishing is also prevalent for residents on Lily Lake with largemouth bass being the more popular species caught by anglers. Bluegill, crappie, carp, and perch are also species that can be found in the lake.

On the eastern shore of Lily Lake are several restaurants including Buffalo Wild Wings, Culver’s, Dunkin' Donuts, McDonald’s, Wendy’s, and more. Down the street are several more food options and shops, grocery stores, and convenience stores.

Visit the Indiana Dunes, National Park

Spanning 15 miles of the peaceful shore of Lake Michigan is the Indiana Dunes, National Park. These unique natural features are great for exploring, biking, hiking, swimming, camping, fishing, horseback riding, picnicking, and more.
