Duck Lake is a 110-acre natural lake by the Village of Fox Lake in Lake County, Illinois. This lake is known for its shallow waters, with a maximum depth of only nine feet and an average depth of 4.5 feet.

The Duck Lake Waterway Association is an umbrella organization consisting of five homeowner associations that surround Duck Lake: Knollwood Park Subdivision, Duck Lake Woods Subdivision, Devlin Subdivision, Longwood Subdivision, and Chris Larkin Subdivision. There is no public access to the lake, so residents must be a part of one of the five HOA’s.

Residents of Duck Lake can enjoy motorized and non-motorized boating on Duck Lake. Boaters need to watch out for shallow areas along the shoreline.

Fishing, swimming, and other water sports can also be enjoyed on the lake.
