In the Suburbs of Waukegan, Illinois

Druce Lake is a smaller, tranquil lake located within the Village of Third Lake community. Also known as Chittenden Lake and Second Lake, this lake was named after Alexander Druce, who came from New York to purchase it in 1844.

Nearby is the larger Third Lake, which sits to the west of Druce Lake. Third Lake covers 157 acres and is available to residents of Druce Lake as well. Both lakes are naturally formed and are not open to the public.
