Cross Lake

Lake County, Illinois

Cross Lake is an 89-acre private lake north of Antioch, Illinois. Only half of the lake is in Illinois, and the other half is in Wisconsin.

Cross Lake is 30 minutes from Waukegan National Airport and 15 minutes away from Hardin Memorial Hospital.

On and Around the Water

The Illinois side of Cross Lake is part of the Oakwood Knolls subdivision, where lake rights are through voluntary association. For a small fee, this gives you access to the beach, boat ramp, and fishing.

Anglers can expect to catch largemouth bass and panfish. Northern pikes are also present.

Visit Antioch

Lake residents can venture to Antioch to visit the PM&L Theatre, which was formed in 1960. It premieres musicals, comedies, and other plays.

The Vigneto Del Bino is a boutique winery specializing in “wine grown from local vines” that includes a tasting room and gift shop and offers samples.
